About Us

Sparks Physical Therapy is a clinic in Seattle’s Central District / Capitol Hill neighborhood providing individualized physical therapy for active adults and athletes. Care is centered on climbing and running injuries, post-surgical recovery, and complex orthopedic conditions, with treatment guided by movement analysis, progressive strength work, and practical return-to-activity planning

Jon has been practicing physical therapy in Seattle since 2015 and brings a long personal background in climbing and outdoor sport to his clinical work. A Seattle native, he completed both his undergraduate and doctoral training at the University of Washington and has continued to pursue extensive continuing education focused on climbing injuries, orthopedic rehab, and movement-based care.

His approach blends current evidence, careful movement assessment, and progressive strength training to help people return to the activities they value with more resilience and confidence. Outside the clinic, Jon has been climbing for over 15 years and enjoys traveling, cooking and learning Italian.
