Diagnostic Ultrasound

Diagnostic ultrasound allows us to see muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints in real time during movement. This helps identify the source of pain more accurately and guides more precise treatment decisions throughout your rehabilitation.

What This Is

Ultrasound is a safe imaging tool used during your session to assess tissue structure and how it behaves with movement. Unlike static imaging, it lets us observe how tissues function while you move.

How It Improves Treatment

Ultrasound allows more precise exercise progression and better understanding of tissue healing. Particularly when there is a suspicion of a finger pulley injury, ultrasound is the gold standard for accurate diagnosis.

What a Session Looks Like

Ultrasound is used briefly during evaluation or treatment to gather information that guides your rehab. It is painless and takes only a few minutes.
